This Sparkling Punch is a bubbly version of an English style punch, thus with gin. The juniper flavours complement the verbena and the lemon notes. Then the Wild Strawberry Liqueur brings a unique fruity and summery touch. The Triple Sec version adding citrus and sour notes.
Ingredients
| Merlet Crème de Fraise des Bois, strawberry liqueur | 500 ml - 16 oz |
| Gin | 500 ml - 16 oz |
| Lemon Juice | 500 ml - 16 oz |
| Lemon Sherbert (Alt.use sugar syrup) | 250 ml - 8oz |
| Small bunch Verbena | 1 |
| Slices fruits | |
| Champagne (or Sparkling wine) |
Method
Mix all ingredients in a punch bowl and add sliced fruits and verbena. Infuse for minimum 15 minutes before ladling over ice into a glass. Top with Champagne.
Decoration : Lemon Thym
Service : Punch Bowl for preparation. Wine, short Tumbler, small Rocks or small Tankard glass for service.
