Sangria is a traditional wine punch originated from Spain and Portugal. It is based on red wine, citrus fruits and a dash of brandy. Our own version adapted by Tony Conigliaro.
Ingredients
| Merlet Brothers Blend Cognac | 50 ml – 2 oz |
| Merlet Trois Citrus, triple sec liqueur | 50 ml – 2 oz |
| Orange | 1 |
| Lemon | 1 |
| Bottle Red Wine | 1 |
| Simple Syrup | 15ml - ½ oz |
| Soda water (optional) |
Method
Pour all liquid ingredients into the punch bowl and add the sliced orange and lemon. Keep in the fridge for minimum 15 minutes. Ladle in a glass with fruits slices. Add ices cubes to chill further, and top with soda water (optional).
Decoration : Sliced Fruits
Service : Punch Bowl for preparation. Wine, short Tumbler, small Rocks or small Tankard glass for service
