The Red Angel is a variation of the classic Cardinal or Communard (blackcurrant and red wine), the vermouth bringing Madeira notes perfectly married to the blackcurrant.

Ingredients

Merlet Crème de Cassis de Saintonge, blackcurrant liqueur20 ml – 1 oz
Sweet Vermouth (Martini Rosso) 15 ml – ¾ oz
Red Wine 75 ml – 3 ¾ oz

Method

Pour all ingredients in a short tumbler glass with two ice cubes, and garnish with an orange slice.

Decoration : Orange slice
