Japanese cocktail
In June 1860, the first official Japanese delegation visited the United States and stayed at the Metropolitan Hotel in New York City, just a few blocks from Jerry Thomas' bar. To celebrate this first visit, the 'Professor' created this classic cocktail including cognac, orgeat, and bitters.
Ingredients
| Merlet Brothers Blend Cognac | 50 ml - 2 oz |
| Orgeat syrup | 10 ml - ½ oz |
| Angostura bitters | 3 drops |

Method
Pour all ingredients in a shaker with ice cubes. Stir with a bar spoon and strain in a small cocktail glass. Garnish with a small lemon twist.
