This classic cocktail is thought to have been created at the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel in Philadelphia at the beginning of the 20th century. It was originally made with a raspberry syrup.
Ingredients
| Merlet Crème de Framboise, raspberry liqueur | 15 ml – ¾ oz |
| Gin | 35 ml – 1 ¾ oz |
| Dry Vermouth (Martini Bianco) | 15 ml – ¾ oz |
| Lemon Juice | 25 ml – 1 ¼ oz |
| Egg white | 1 |
| Sugar Syrup | 5 ml - 1 tps |
Method
Put all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Strain in a martini glass.
