A tribute to London bartender Dick Bradsell by Chad Solomon & Christy Pope for Merlet. Adapted from Dick’s « Bramble » cocktail, which he created in the 1980’s at Fred’s.
Ingredients
| Merlet Brothers Blend Cognac | 40 ml - 2 oz |
| Merlet Crème de Cassis de Saintonge, blackcurrant liqueur | 5 ml - ¼ oz |
| Freshly Lemon Juice | 15 ml - ¾ oz |
| Simple Syrup | 10 ml - ½ oz |
Method
Measure ingredients into a mixing tin. Dry shake vigorously and pour into Double Old Fashioned glass. Top with pellet ice. Float of Merlet Blackcurrant liqueur.
Decoration : Fresh currants (when in season), and a lemon wedge
Service : Rocks Glass
