Also called « Communard », this cocktail is an example of how politics are in every day life in France. Hence depending on their political views, people gave it a different name. « The Cardinal » is an easy, fruit-filled wine punch. The same ratio of ingredients can be kedpt to adapt this recipe to fill a punch bowl.
Ingredients
| Merlet Crème de Cassis de Saintonge, blackcurrant liqueur | 25 ml - 1 oz |
| Red Wine | 100 ml – 4 oz |
Method
Pour the blackcurrant liqueur in a wine glass and top with red wine. Add ice cubes.
